How do I order a personalised comic canvas?
Open the builder on any personalised product page — choose your style (Cover, Icon, or Strip), drop your photo straight in, position it, add your text and choose your format and size, then add it to your basket. We email the finished artwork for approval, usually within one working day, before anything goes to print.
What photo do I need to send for a personalised comic canvas?
The bigger the file the better. Photos straight from a phone or camera are ideal; screenshots and pictures saved from social media are usually too small. JPG, PNG and WEBP are all fine. The builder shows the print quality of each photo as you position it and warns you before anything would print soft. The pose in your photo is the pose in your artwork, so choose a photo that shows your subject how you want them to be remembered. Covers and Icons take one photo. Strips need a photo in all twelve panels — you can use the same photo more than once if you want to.
Can I request changes to my proof?
You set the layout, crop and wording yourself in the builder, so those are exactly as you approved them. If the finished artwork isn't right once you've seen it, reply to the proof email and we'll look at it. We want you to love it before we print it.
What is the difference between a personalised Cover, Icon, and Strip?
A Comic Book Cover is a bold, magazine-style design with your subject as the star, in two styles: Classic cuts your subject out of the photo and sets them against a comic burst background, while Full bleed uses your whole photo edge to edge with the masthead and captions laid over it. A Comic Book Icon is a graphic portrait with strong colours and a quote or text element. A Comic Book Strip is a single canvas featuring twelve comic art images — ideal for capturing a sequence of moments. Each carries a £10 personalisation fee.
